About The Hideaway

We are honoured to collaborate with The Hideaway as our accommodation partner for the True North Retreat. The Hideaway was born from the vision of its owner, Michael Ratajczyk, who ventured away from the hustle of corporate city life after experiencing burnout. This wake-up call sparked a personal journey of healing and self-discovery.

Inspired by his own transformative journey, Michael combined his passions for architecture, landscaping, and wellness to create The Hideaway as a retreat destination. It serves as a beautiful space for impactful experiences, where individuals can pause, rejuvenate, and embark on their own self-discovery journeys. The Hideaway symbolises the power of reconnecting with oneself and reflects a commitment to creating a better world for future generations.

The Accommodation

At The Hideaway, retreat participants can choose from two types of accommodation, each offering a unique blend of comfort and serenity amidst lush, tropical surroundings.

The Frangipani House is perfect for those who enjoy shared living in a cozy, communal setting. It features three bedrooms—two with luxurious king beds and one with twin beds, making it ideal for friends or small groups. The house has a single shared bathroom, adding to its charming, family-style atmosphere. It’s a perfect choice if you prefer to stay close to your group, enjoying shared spaces and meaningful moments together including a private outdoor picnic table lounge and indoor living room with 2 couches, large coffee table and refrigerator.

For those who seek more privacy, the two Palm House bungalows provide an intimate retreat. Each bungalow is designed with a king-sized bed and a private en suite bathroom, offering a tranquil space to unwind. Nestled in the resort’s natural surroundings, these bungalows combine comfort and seclusion, making them ideal for those seeking a peaceful, solo retreat or a more private stay. Each house has its own teakwood loungers just a few steps down from another private deck for relaxing or yoga.

No matter which accommodation you choose, The Hideaway offers a serene, nature-inspired setting to fully immerse yourself in the retreat experience.
